They were filmed by his parents and Billy, his older brother, who attended North Texas Agricultural College (NTAC-now UTA) from 1947-49. Billy is featured in the videos and Herman is the little boy in the suit. The instructor at the blackboard in the last video is Warren Culberson, the long time TV meteorologist for stations WFAA and KDFW. He taught chemistry and physics at NTAC until 1950.
