REMINDER – It’s Time to Register!
The 2019 Military Science Hall of Honor Ceremony
SATURDAY, APRIL 20, 2019, 10:30 a.m.
In the E.H. Hereford Student Center, UTA campus
The University of Texas at Arlington’s Military Science Department and Cadet Corps Alumni Council (CCAC) are inducting Major General (Ret) Daniel P. Hughes and Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Mike R. Greer into the UTA Military Hall of Honor on Saturday, April 20, 2019.
The 2019 Military Science Hall of Honor Ceremony begins with the Induction Ceremony in the Rosebud Theater of the E.H. Hereford Student Center on the UTA campus at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception, a tour of the Hall of Honor, a chance to meet with the Corps extracurricular teams, and a luncheon at 12:00 p.m. in the Bluebonnet Ballroom. Closing ceremonies will begin at 1:30 p.m. and include the I Am A Maverick pageant, the Silver Cup Ceremony, and retirement of the colors that signal the end of the ceremony activities.
Calling All Members of the Hall of Honor
We are adding something special to the Hall of Honor this year:
- We will have all the current members of the HOH come to the front of the auditorium for a group photograph with the new inductees.
- The picture, with a story of our event, will be sent to the newspapers and Shorthorn.
- We also plan to include the photo in our update to the Hall of Honor DVD.
